In March, we attended the Philidelphia Flower Show. We also visited a National Historical Site, the home of Edgar Allen Poe. I would have thought I'd come home with lots of flower painting ideas, but instead, I want to paint ravens.

Thursday, April 10, will be the official ASPCA Day and they're encouraging everyone to wear orange in support!

I've made this Etsy flickr poster to celebrate and promote rescue efforts. Many members of the Etsy Dog Mafia Team ( http://etsydogs.blogspot.com ) will be promoting their ORANGE items. And many team members will be donating $1 from sales on April 10 to the ASPCA.

In honor of Uno, 3-year-old beagle, winning Westminster last night, I am sharing this necklace. Uno, was the first of his breed to win Best in Show in the 131-year-old dog show's history. My first dog was a beagle and I have a very soft spot in my heart for those loveable faces and velvety ears.
